More of Kaniakapupu

There are those in the parnormal field who staunchly insist that orbs (or for that matter, anything paranomal), cannot be caught with flash photography.  They are adamant that the use of flash will only produce photographs that contain reflections of dust, spores, bugs, and moisture.  Although 95% of the pictures taken may reveal simple reflections, some photographs are just too difficult to dismiss away, especially when an experience is associated with it.

To satisfy my own curiosity, I decided to take some photographs without a flash.  Here are some of the results of pictures taken at Kaniakapupu while music was being played.

This light anomaly appeared as flute music was being played by one of the musicians.

This is an image that appeared out of the darkness.  To make sure it wasn't a reflection of a light colored rock from the ruins, I lightened the photograph to see if there was anything in the background.

This is a lightened version of the previous picture.  It is clearly an anomaly that produced it's own light.

Naysayers claim that orbs cannot be captured with flash photography because orbs emit their own light and the flash would therefore wash out the orb's image.  My belief is that true orbs have a special frequency that can be captured in a split second, with or without a flash.  Yes they produce their own "light," but with the right timing and a lot of luck, orbs can be photographed.
