My sister's new found facination with spirit photography has opened up another facet of life for me. My husband would often balk at our night quests and questioned why we were so fascinated by "death." His comment troubled me at first, but after much thought, I've come to the conclusion that death IS part of life. Our energy never dies. Free will enables us to choose where we go after our time here on earth expires. Some of us choose to go home while others may decide to hang around a bit longer.
Here are some interesting pictures. This first photograph was taken by my sister, Jill Okita, at the Hawaii Plantation Village in Waipahu. If you look closely you'll see an image of a woman in black in the mirror. This photograph was taken in the Portuguese house. The room is roped off (you can see the rope in the mirror) so my sister had to take this shot at an angle while standing outside the room. What she intended to photograph was a reflection of a rocking chair in the room behind her. When she reviewed her picture, she realized she captured more than just the chair. Apparently someone was very attached to this piece of furniture.
This is a close-up shot of two orbs with faces that was taken near the birthing stones in Wahiawa.
