This reputedly haunted museum has had many sightings. In 1954, an aircraft returning from the Korean War missed its intended airfield and crashed into the Waianae mountain range. All eight men onboard were killed. It's been reported that at least one of the crew members, oblivious of his death, wanders the airfield located at this museum.
Many people have reported seeing a ghostly figure standing, walking, or waiting on the flight line and machine shop. He has identified himself as Joseph Beczek, one of the airmen who perished in the fatal 1954 plane crash. People have witnessed strands of moving vapors and shadows. School children who visit the museum would report seeing or feeling a presence in the restroom closest to the machine shop.

This is a cropped close-up of the above photograph. It's a bit grainy but you can make out the figure of a thin, blonde male with a crew cut. He appears to be leaning on his left arm.
